Who Is Lauren Tarshis?
According to the official Lauren Tarshis official website, learning to write a book that caters to a young audience was a process that took many years for her.
Aside from the I Survived book series, Tarshes also wrote the Emma-Jean Lazarus books, and collaborated with William Kennedy and Claudio Edinger with the making of Ironweed, which is a 1988 American drama film.
Currently, she lives in Connecticut with her husband and four children.
