Here is the complete list of books published by Vince Flynn, a well-known American political novel author.
Who Is Vince Flynn?
Vince Flynn was born on April 6, 1966, in St. Paul, Minnesota. Despite being diagnosed with dyslexia as a child, he finished his education and graduated from college with an Economics degree.
After working at Kraft General Foods as a sales and account specialist for a short time after college, Flynn decided to join the Marines Aviation Program in 1991. However, he wasn’t able to complete the course as he was disqualified because of his medical background.
After his rejection, he moved on and worked as a commercial real estate leasing agent in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. While working, he got an idea to start a book writing business.
After two years of working, Flynn decided to quit his job to become a full-time writer. He moved to Colorado and entirely devoted his time to writing his first book. To sustain himself, he worked as a bartender during the night.
He remained steadfast in his beliefs even though many, including his family, questioned his decisions in life. Flynn was able to finish his book titled Term Limits, but over 60 publishers rejected it.
Flynn didn’t give up. Instead, he decided to self publish Term Limits in 1998, which resulted in it being the number one best selling book in the Twin Cities area at the time. In just a week, the publishing house Pocket Books decided to take Flynn under their wing and signed a two-book deal with him.
By 2000, Flynn had already established himself as a serious political thriller author and continued to publish several best selling works since including Memorial Day, The Third Option, and Consent to Kill.
In 2012, he published his last two novels, Kill Shot, and The Last Man, before succumbing to a rare form of cancer in 2013. Flynn was survived by his wife, Lysa, and their three children. He died on June 19, 2013.
