Here is the complete list of books published by David Baldacci, a best-selling American novelist, and philanthropist.

Who Is David Baldacci?

Born on August 5, 1960, in Richmond, Virginia, Baldacci started writing way back in his childhood years when his mom gave him a notebook to write down his stories.

He earned a B.A. from Virginia Commonwealth University and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, and spent nine years afterward practicing law in Washington, D.C.

Baldacci continued to write even while practicing law, penning short stories, and even screenplays without success in two decades. He got his big break in novel writing in 1996 after publishing Absolute Power, which he wrote for three years.

The success of Absolute Power inspired Baldacci to write more similar novels. The story is about an American president and a couple of his Secret Service agents who are going to commit a murder to cover up the death of the President’s mistress.

The novel was adapted into a film a year later, starring Gene Hackman and Clint Eastwood.

Baldacci’s eighth novel, The Christmas Train, was adapted by Hallmark Channel in 2017 as a Hallmark Hall of Fame feature presentation. The television movie featured Joan Cusack, Danny Glover, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, and Dermot Mulroney.

To date, he has published seven novels for young readers, and 40 best-selling novels for adults.

Baldacci and his wife are also heavily involved in charity. They both started the Wish You Well Foundation, a foundation that aims to fight illiteracy in the United States. In 2008, the Wish You Well Foundation partnered with Feeding America to create Feeding Body & Mind, an organization dedicated to combating hunger and poverty.
