Graphic and Book Cover Design Internship

Adazing offers remote internships during school semesters or over summer break. If you have the desire to develop real-world work experience in graphic design or book cover design, you owe it to yourself to consider what our Internship Program has to offer.  If you are between careers or recently graduated, one of our internships might be for you!

Adazing does not offer monetary compensation, but we have professional designers who enjoy mentoring and investing their time and passion for design into students to make sure they develop real-world experience and excellent job references that will enable them to secure great jobs in the future.

Interns are expected to:

• have proficient verbal and written communication skills,

• be familiar with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

• have basic understanding of the elements of design, typography, and color theory

Interns will progress through a curriculum designed to educate them on book cover design and standard practices before working on designs for authors.

Stage 1: All interns will begin by writing design critiques of successful book covers to demonstrate their understanding of effective book cover design.

Stage 2: Intern will create mock covers that illustrate a pre-determined subject matter.

Stage 3: After progressing through stage one and two, interns will begin designing covers for actual authors.

By the end of your internship, you can expect to have real-world experience and some great portfolio samples.
