Wordsmith

Curling up in front of a fire with a good book, sitting around the family table playing word games, the Wordsmith theme puts all these warm familiar experiences into one inviting design. But more than just aesthetics, Wordsmith is packed with customizable options. Choose background colors, sidebar placement, and an optional adsense ready sidebar. Also, the header displays your blog title in custom block lettering.

The Wordsmith theme is our most customizable with many unique item options.

Hi! I love this theme and am using it right now. Is there a way to put links on the “spare” tiles like the one with the RSS on it?

    Thank you!

Hello! I am installing Wordsmith (LOVE IT!) on this site: http://www.smartkitchentips.com The only way I could get the complete title to show was to put ~ before and after it, otherwise it has the letter T from tips on the far right and the IPS on the 2nd line.

Is there a way to make the tiles centered?

Is there a way to completely change the wording on the white torn paper below so that I can eliminate the ~ that are showing since they are in the title (but hidden)? And is there any way to add additional things like small images to the white torn paper?

How can I add other images to the blank tiles by the RSS tile? I was thinking I could add social media icons?

    Thanks so much!

The title is not easily centered, but I think your solution with the extra spaces was pretty smart.

For the white torn paper you could edit the image(paper-rip.png) in photoshop and put stuff on it and then re-save it to the server.

Sorry the blank tiles are not currently editable but I am considering making this an option in the next update for the Wordsmith.

  • This is the BEST FREE THEME I HAVE EVER SEEN! And I might add the best THEME I have seen free. When the money starts to roll in a bit, I’ll be back for your website building..

    Thank you so much..

Hello, love your theme. Is there a way to make the page options at the top of the page have drop down menus to the different sub-pages? Thanks!
